Why is my order coming in separate packages?

Depending on the items you select, the quantity and the shipping options you choose, we may send items out to you in multiple packages in order to lower shipping cost for everyone. Although our cosmetic products are handmade in-house with us, we also offer items that are designed in-house and then made to order by our suppliers. Since we work with a few different suppliers, an order with different items may be sent separately at no extra cost for you. You will be notified if this is the case and any applicable tracking numbers will be provided as well.

Are the soaps halal, vegan, and cruelty free?

Yes, our soaps are made using halal ingredients (ingredients that are permissible for Muslims to use). Subsequently, this also makes our products mostly vegan. We only use ingredients that are natural and safe and there by our products are cruelty free. We may use some milks or butters in some soaps in the future which are dairy sourced. How do you test your Cosmetic products?

We run ph tests on all our products which need them to ensure they are within safe levels for skin use according to the stated recommendations. As for the rest of the testing needed, well it’s pretty simple, we stay away from unnatural harmful ingredients and we keep a part of the products we make for inhouse use. Our cosmetic product line was started because we wanted to provide products for our own family first and then it expended to be available for you too. So you could say we test them on ourselves first and know they are safe. But as with any new product, always take the time to do a swatch test on a clean area on your arm first just in case of allergies. Why isn’t there a constant supply of soaps or other cosmetics?

Simply because we are a very small family owned boutique, and we make these lovely soaps, and other cosmetics around a busy family schedule. Why was the soap I got sticky feeling when I got it?

Because our soaps are natural cold processed soaps, they will continue to age even after the necessary curing time. This may cause the extra oils added for skin hydration to form beads out on the surface. This will not affect the function of the soap, and remains only on the surface when it happens. It is easily removed with warm water or when the bar is used in regular washing.

Why are your house plants only available for Canada?

Due to the extra steps it would take to certify international live plant shipping, we decided it would be simpler to keep shipping within Canada. We do have other items available that may interest you and hope you may find something that brings you joy.
